Frequently Asked Questions

What colours are available?
With Ez Trim there really are no limitations with colour. If you want to match the trims to Hardie Panel we simply submit the colour you'd like and the trims are factory finished and sent out.
How Durable is EzTrim?
EzTrim is incredible durable, both the back plates and faceplates are a heavy gauge aluminum. They will not rust or deteriorate over time. A part of EzTrim's durability and performance comes from there slope technology creating proper water shedding and their ezbump system which stops water from every reaching your building wrap.
How is EzTrim Fastened
EzTrim back plates are fastened using standard hot dipped siding nails fired from a pneumatic siding nailer. The Hardie sheets are fastened using stainless steel colour matched screws placed as per EzTrims specs.
With our short summers is it fine to install EzTrim during the winter?
When EzTrims install specs are followed there isn't any issue installing their trims in the cold. The trim back plates are thick enough and nailed in such a way that movement is really limited, the face plates when snapped in are able to move as needed.
Can EzTrim be installed as a soffit product?
EzTrim is fine to be used as a soffit solution, as long as consideration is taken before starting as to proper support for the Hardie panels.
